Description:
Brown Fused Alumina (BFA) is made from Calcined Bauxite and produced by Fusing either in Tilting or FIxed furnaces. BFA is made into many grit sizes ranging from macrogrits to microgrits and powders. It is a hard and tough material (Mohs hardness 9)) with high strength.
Application:
1. Refractory Grade Brown Fused Alumina is widely used as a raw material in high alumina refractory bricks and shapes, plastics, castables, mortars, gun mixes, ramming mixes, ans other refractory products, anti-skidding.Group size is like 0-1mm/1-3mm/3-5mm/5-8mm/10-20mm/0-25mm/100F/200F/325F, and other size are available upon request

2. Abrasive Grade Brown Fused Alumina is used in manufacturing of grinding wheels (both vitrified and resin bonded) and coated products. These grains are also used for shot blasting and as polishing media.Grit sizes is as per FEPA for abrasive applications, such as 24#/30#/36#/60#/80#/120#....
